Nature’s Wilderness Resort is a brand-new campground, nestled in the foothills of West Baldwin, which opened in May 2020. It’s just off Route 111 (Maine Scenic Highway) and 6 miles west of Sebago Lake – the second largest lake in Maine. It’s a 25 mile trip to Portland, and it takes about 2 and a half hours to drive to Boston.

Amenities
The resort can accommodate all sizes of RVs. Sites either have a direct water view or are wooded. There’s 20/30/50 amp service, with water and sewer included.

There’s a game room/lounge, a restaurant, a general store, and of course fire pits and picnic tables.

There also are plenty of hiking trails, and free use of canoes, kayaks, paddles, and rowboats.

Surroundings
Baldwin is a small town, with a great museum – the Baldwin Historical Society and Museum. Take the Maine Brew Bus to visit a few breweries. Visit Sebago Lake State Park. Jagolinzer Preserve is a 20-acre site with a waterfall, an old dam, and frontage on the Saco River.
