Cachuma Lake Campground is adjacent to Cachuma Lake, a reservoir created by the Bradbury Dam in 1953. The campground is set between the Santa Ynez and San Rafael Mountains, midway between Santa Barbara and Solvang.
Amenities
Note that since Cachuma Lake is a domestic water supply, no swimming, water-skiing or windsurfing is allowed. However, there is a pool in the campground.
That doesn’t mean there’s not plenty to do – boating, children’s playgrounds, hiking trails, fishing piers, and a nature center. There’s also a gas station, a coin-operated laundromat, and hot showers.
The marina is open year-round.
