When the reading is at 3 or more orange/red dots the guest understands that they must release the waste (black/grey) all units have waste tank levers labeled and located on the exterior lower area of the units. Each waste tank will have both a black and a grey valve that will need to be pulled and extended to release the waste. Some units will have more than 1 waste connection (i.e an additional lever in the front and back and/or additional connection both in the front and back) these are always all located on the same side of the unit. Rules of the Road > House Rules

RULES OF THE ROAD: #01 = NO SMOKING
1. No Smoking inside any of our units - Evidence of smoke smell/odor, discoloring, ash, or observation, will result in full forfeiture of your entire security deposit as a penalty for breaking the rule, and an additional deep cleaning cost will be assigned, along with any other remediation and/or related expenses which will be charged to the renter. Please do not break our #1 rule. MINIMUM CHARGE OF $1,500 PENALTY.
RULES OF THE ROAD: #02 = AWNING USE IS AT RENTER'S RISK
2. Awning use is at renters' risk - Never leave an awning open in the extended position if there is no one present underneath it. Always retract properly when not in use. The powered awnings are all very fragile, and very easy to misuse, they are very expensive and have very long wait times for parts and repairs. This is a common standard rule when renting and is for your protection due to the cost being upwards of $5,000 to replace complete power awnings. Power awnings when over-extended will re-roll in reverse which causes damage, most units have a clasp that secures the awning in place, it is extremely easy to cause the clasp to bend/warp which in turn will no longer hold the awning and can cause major damage, it truly is just way too easy to accidentally end up with a large expensive bill. There is a MINIMUM CHARGE OF $500 FOR ANY DAMAGE TO AWNINGS/AWNING CAPS AND A MINIMUM CHARGE OF $3,500 FOR DAMAGE TO AWNING ASSEMBLY, ARMS, AND/OR FABRIC/VINYL MATERIAL. We suggest using pop-up canopies instead and can provide one complimentary upon request in advance. Otherwise, we rent 10x10 pop-up canopies.
RULES OF THE ROAD: #03 = DO NOT GO ON THE ROOF
3. Please do not go on the roof ever, it is for maintenance purposes only
RULES OF THE ROAD: #04 = SIGNATURES REQUIRED
4. The renter must sign the rental agreement and provide a copy [this can be done online] While this seems obvious, it's a critical part of every reservation in order to prevent complications. If we do not receive a signed agreement from a renter it is considered accepted by default with the renter acknowledging the unit is in perfect working condition.
RULES OF THE ROAD: #05 = INSPECTIONS
5. Renters must submit their own pre and post-trip inspection forms [this can be done online] we will always have our reports available on file and can send copies, but if there is ever a discrepancy it's important that you protect yourself in filling out the provided checklists and forms, Please provide us with a copy, specifically at the start of your trip let us know if we missed anything or if there is anything at all that appears to be unsatisfactory, this way it can be notated by both parties and addressed before you begin your vacation. At the end of your trip make sure to submit a post-trip inspection report with photos. It is best practice to have a Stress Free RVs representative meet with the primary renter at the start and end of each trip to conduct the inspections and walk-throughs together. However, it is not a requirement. We have tutorial videos available online and area available to assist as needed.
RULES OF THE ROAD: #06 ITINERARY AND DESTINATION REQUIRED
6. Let us know your destination and any major changes to your route, please, and thank you We just want to know where the units are heading and a way to reach you in case of an emergency. Please note there is a MINIMUM of $1,000 MINIMUM PENALTY for taking a unit to a festival without pre-approval or going off-route without pre-approval.
RULES OF THE ROAD: #07 = GUESTS LISTED
7. We must have the names of all guests who will be using the trailer, including IDs for all guests over 18. Failure to provide this information to us prior to your trip start may result in additional charges and could end up canceling/voiding your insurance which means all accident/damage-related expenses would be out of pocket and charged directly to the renter.
RULES OF THE ROAD: #08 = ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
8. When driving long distances you must add roadside assistance as a mandatory requirement [this is for your benefit and is a requirement]. You may provide your own roadside assistance service by sharing a copy of your insurance policy plan and coverages with us prior to the start of your trip.
RULES OF THE ROAD: #09 = HEAT AND HIGH TEMPERATURES
9. When traveling through very hot areas, plan to drive in the morning or evening. Trailer tires are not made for extreme heat, please be safe. Tires are NOT COVERED under insurance. NOTE: RVS AND TRAILERS ARE NOT MADE FOR HIGH HEAT TEMPERATURES. AIR CONDITIONERS WILL NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY WHEN THERE ARE TEMPERATURES OVER 90 DEGREES. IN IDEAL CONDITIONS AIR CONDITIONERS WILL REDUCE THE TEMPERATURE BY A MAXIMUM OF 10-15 DEGREES BELOW THE OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE.
RULES OF THE ROAD: #10 = SEPTIC SAFE TOILET PAPER ONLY
10. SEPTIC SAFE TOILET PAPER is the only item that should ever be used and flushed down the toilet. Please do not use your own toilet paper, it will clog the black tank and there is a default $500+ charge for having a specialist address any clogged toilets. We have plenty of extra rolls, please ask in advance if you think you may need extra and we are happy to provide them!
RULES OF THE ROAD: #11 = ASK QUESTIONS IN ADVANCE AND CONTACT US IN REAL TIME
11. Ask us questions, lots of questions, in advance and in real-time. Review the available documentation, messages, and/or videos (when applicable) If you are unsure how to do something, just ask! We are always happy to help and we much prefer that you know the right way to operate anything related to the rental.
RENTER RESPONSIBILITIES
Communication should always be done through the rental platform message system - Do not go over 55MPH while driving any RV / towing trailers - Do not go across any borders [this will void the insurance and forfeit your deposit]
RENTER RESPONSIBILITIES: - Notify Stress Free RVs PRIOR TO ACCEPTING POSSESSION regarding any aspect that is not satisfactory or non-functional. Failure to do so will result in the current renter being held liable for any and all repairs related to the return condition. It's extremely important to ask questions and complete the inspection checklist forms at the start and end of each reservation. - refill propane tanks prior to returning/ending your trip - empty out grey and black waste tanks, and clean the septic hose out - clean and replace any used items back where they were originally stored - leave the trailer in the same condition as you received it at the start of the reservation. Thank you and the most important thing is to enjoy your vacation! :)
